Vital Care is a growing home infusion company that is opening a new location in DMV area. We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Account Executive to help the organization grow its infusion business. In this position you will be calling on hospitals, physician offices, and medical clinics to obtain infusion referrals including antibiotics, IVIG, biologics, and Alpha-1 therapies. As an infusion pharmacy Account Executive, you will be responsible for effectively applying promotional and selling strategies to expand company business opportunities and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • As an Account Executive with your local Vital Care Pharmacy, you will call on physicians, nurses, case managers, discharge planners and other healthcare professionals in hospital, offices, and clinic settings to facilitate patient discharge and coordinate patient care.
  • Interact directly with patients in hospitals or clinics when applicable to provide details of our services and answer their questions.
  • Develop and execute tactical plans to grow infusion business. This will include maintenance of existing referral sources, prospecting and cold calling on new potential referral sources.
  • You will be held accountable for meeting a defined market infusion revenue budget by servicing and growing both existing business and gaining new market share.
  • You will work with your owner to grow specialty infusion therapy business through accurate business projections, goals, specific strategies, and pertinent account information.
  • Work closely with clinical pharmacy personnel to ensure the highest level of customer happiness with the goal of delivering the best service possible to patients receiving these critical therapies in their homes.
  • You must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key partners and patients.
  • Work closely with Vital Care Sales training team to develop and use routing based on Trella Health data for defined territory.
  • You will be expected to log 50 Sales Calls per week in Trella Health CRM to track your work and sales strategies.
  • Execute all target sales and marketing plans and strategies with appropriate attention to detail and timely follow-up. Be responsible for achieving targeted sales goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Follow and implement Vital Care promotional sales campaigns and target marketing planning to increase market visibility for the brand.
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with all pharmaceutical counterparts and their respective therapeutic classes.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities with prospective customers and develop relationships with them
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including distributors, dealers, retailers, and other internal departments
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current products, services, pricing, and promotions offered by Vital Care of Bethesda
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current industry trends in logistics and supply chain management
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of supply chain management best practices
  • Maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely shipments at all times
  • Evaluate current market trends, competitive landscape, product/services offerings, pricing, promotions, etc.
  • Assist in developing company strategies to drive sales growth through effective marketing strategies
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
