Job Description This is an opportunity for a technically proficient, results-driven multi-tasker with ecommerce experience to scale CamelBak’s ecommerce business. This position reports directly to the Senior Website Manager on the Ecommerce team. Candidates should have experience in these areas: Site Merchandising, Website Production, and Content Management. The Ecommerce Merchandising Manager will be responsible for helping deliver double-digit ecommerce growth as a member of the eCommerce Team. S/He will be responsible for developing a world-class shopping experience at CamelBak.com and ensuring that all website content is optimized for search and digital marketing. This position will manage the day-to-day product and content updates of the website, including product catalog management, site merchandising, landing page creation and the shopping experience through to check-out. Collaboration is at the core of this role, as you will partner with a large variety of stakeholders to define and deliver opportunities and content evolution. Success relies on building solid business cases and effectively collaborating with the right partners and internal stakeholders. Strong candidates should be comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain product catalog, including adding new items, removing discontinued items, and ensuring descriptions, pricing and attributes are accurate and up to date. In collaboration with cross functional teams, define the CamelBak.com website product content placement and measures of success (KPIs) Provide weekly briefing of product availability and performance on goal and as it relates to ongoing marketing campaigns and initiatives Manage the implementation of website marketing, product merchandising content and seasonal promotions (site headers, promotions, taxonomy and navigation of category, family, and product pages) Represent the e-Commerce channel in the demand planning and forecasting process to ensure appropriate inventory levels exists to support future product launches and growth of existing product categories. Monitor and manage daily inventory levels to ensure that appropriate inventory levels are in place to support new product launches, website content launches and digital marketing initiatives. Use site analytics and financial reporting analysis tools (i.e. Google Analytics and Salesforce Commerce Cloud reporting) to develop merchandising and product content strategies to increase conversion. Actively merchandise the website based on web analytics data and trends, using on-site search, product sorting, and filtering to optimize the customer experience. Coordinate website creative asset deliverables and collaborate with team members from cross functional departments such as marketing, creative, photography, and product management to determine digital image and copy requirements optimized for a World Class user experience. Ensure ecommerce initiatives are launched on time and meet initial requirements, keeping teams and management notified of progress and any potential deviations from project schedules (deliverables, milestone dates, resources, etc.) Collaborate with corporate SEO partners to implement SEO best practices as it relates to product set up, landing page creation and other website merchandising. Manage 3rd party platform vendors (i.e. Bazaarvoice, Yotpo) for ratings & reviews and other UGC. Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or related field Minimum 3 years in ecommerce or consumer experience Minimum 3 years in website product catalog management, website merchandising and creative asset management Demonstrated understanding of onsite search and SEO best practices as it relates to website content Demonstrated understanding of digital production and release processes, including direct experience with digital tools and technologies. Excellent oral /written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. Additional Qualifications: Sitecore, Magento or Salesforce Commerce experience a plus General understanding of SEO best practices Intermediate to expert competency working with Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Google Analytics Experienced user of digital asset management systems and PIM (Widen, Salsify or similar programs). Ability to work well independently and within a multi-functional team Deadline-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task and deliver with accuracy Ability to take analysis into action, execute timelines and provide timely solutions Working Conditions: As indicated by responsibilities; ability to handle multiple priorities. Computer terminal use 6 hours per day. Moving boxes of products for shipping. Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted. Standard Office.
