We are seeking an experienced Digital Designer to join our Outdoor Performance Marketing team. The Outdoor Performance strategic priorities are to be consumer-first focused, lead with power brands, and invest inwards. We will build the Outdoor Performance business by creating focus and power with the consumer. Our Marketing team will deliver the necessary brand dedication and functional expertise to achieve our objectives.
As a Digital Designer, you will focus on creating the best experience for segmented digital audiences. You will use your design experience and skills to create and manage digital assets and online marketing collateral to support brand initiatives and provide a great user experience across all digital devices. You will work with the Director of Digital Content and Creative Services, Sr Digital Designer, and DTC team to apply creative concepts to websites, mobile apps, advertising, emails, social media, and interactive displays.
This position reports to the Sr Digital Designer and is based out of Bozeman, Montana.
As the Digital Designer, you will have an opportunity to:

• Design, enhance, and maintain digital media platforms (web, apps, advertising, email, Amazon, e-commerce, etc.) by applying pre-existing brand and campaign design language.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and maintain a working knowledge of technical specifications.
• Take original design concepts and rework them into various sizes and formats for cross-channel campaigns.
• Assist with the management of brand standards.
• Solve problems from both a creative and technical perspective.
• Participate in creative brief development with other marketing team members and other functions
• Manage time, accuracy, and detail efficiently.
• Prepare finished files ready for application, work within design workflow tools, and update files and data as necessary to track and archive project work.
• Determine creative direction for digital designs using current trends in online UI (user interface), technical limitations of medium where art will be placed, and larger online campaigns.
• Support the earned media team with creative assets as briefed or requested in alignment with the communication calendar needs.
• Develop new functionality and features with the online customer experience group, e-commerce product team, and growth retention team.
• Manage and organize digital assets, both internally and externally.
• Report on results rom on-site changes or tests.

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital media, or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of professional digital design and/or graphic design experience.
• Strong portfolio of design work, showcasing a deep understanding of digital and user-focused design principles.
• Experience stemming from and ad agency or brand or in-house creative environment.
• Proficient in digital design for e-commerce, email, social media and paid social.
• Proficient in Adobe CC products, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
• Experience in web design with skills in HTML/CSS and UX processes are a plus.
• Experience with creating animated GIFs in Photoshop and Adobe AfterEffects is a major plus.
• Able to present concepts and lead internal teams in discussions on how to solve complex communications challenges.
• Experience in GA4 or other analytics platforms for on-site performance reporting is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, personal accountability, and time management skills.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and take a collaborative approach to projects.
