Vista Medical Center is Hiring a Pharmacy Buyer Near Waukegan, IL
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating drugs/medications and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers. Responsibilities include:
- Manage daily medication orders from wholesaler
- Place specialty drug orders through outside vendors
- Coordinate medication procurement
- Optimize medication inventory par levels to avoid stock-outs and reduce waste
Requirements:
- Licensed Pharmacy Tech in state of Illinois
- Certification
- 1-3 years previous experience in the field or in a related area
