Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey is Hiring a Nurse Family Partnership Supervisor Near Monmouth, NJ

Overview

Responsible for planning, directing and oversight of Nurse Family Partnership Programs at VNACJ; in addition, responsible for Direct Supervision of two NFP sites.

Responsibilities

  • Supports organization’s mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers
  • Implements NFP programs according to NFP Model and home visit guidelines
  • Monitors quality and appropriateness of services provided through top-level responsibility for data collection, generation of DCF reports, review of and response to client experience surveys, and supervision of administrative staff and NFP Supervisors.
  • Liaise with community agencies, Central Intake, healthcare facilities and other NJ state partners in Maternal Child Health, including public and private funders
  • Organizes community presentations to promote the three home visiting models: Healthy Families TIP; Parents as Teachers (PAT) and Nurse Family Partnership
  • Responsible for staff recruitment and onboarding and arranging for training of new and existing staff
  • Responsible for annual grant submission including articulating resources required to meet program objectives and budgeting—with support of senior CFHI leadership and VNA grants and grants accounting teams.
  • Conducts 1:1 reflective supervision of HF and PAT Supervisors in conjunction with the organization’s managerial/leadership practices as well as providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Participates in State and County Coalitions, Committees, and other MCH Initiatives
  • Chair/Co-Chair Community Advisory Board for MCH/families in each county
  • Directly supervise NFP staff in one geographic area with the assistance of a Team Leader
  • Adheres to the organization’s policy in regards to absenteeism and appearance
  • Other duties as assigned to further the mission of the VNA CFHI in supporting healthy pregnancy, effective parenting and early childhood development
  • Qualifications

  • RN Licensure with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s preferred
  • 3-5 years Managerial/supervisory experience required
  • Experience with at risk maternal child population
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
