Visiting Angels of Cookeville, TN is hiring reliable, compassionate, and dependable In-Home Senior Caregivers and Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team.

We have a wide range of shift times available in many cities across Middle Tennessee. We can get YOU started with clients almost immediately after accepted job offer.

Home Care Senior Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Provide essential care to the client in their home
• Provide joyful companionship for the client while on duty
• Assist in meal planning, grocery shopping, and food preparation Wash dishes and clean the kitchen after meals.
• Assist the client to live in a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
• Observe the client's general physical, emotional, and mental condition, and report all changes in condition. Keep appropriate records of all activity while in the client’s home.
• Provide a sense of security for the client and protect the client as much as possible from any harm resulting from the debilitating effects of his or her illness.
• Assist client as needed, excluding medical care.
• Communicate availability to work with the Office on a weekly basis or as required.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a strong sense of professionalism and must be reliable
• Valid Tennessee Driver's License (REQUIRED)
• Must have personal, reliable transportation to and from shifts
• Must be 18 years of age or older self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must comply with all agency policies.
• Dementia/Alzheimer's experience beneficial but not required
