Visiting Angels is a leading non-medical, private duty home care agency providing companionship, safety supervision and personal care to help adults continue to live safely and independently in their homes.

We are immediately hiring experienced and amazing On-Call Caregivers- you MUST accept shifts and spring into action as soon as they are assigned to you, without exception: We have this special on-call opportunity available Mondays-Fridays from 7am-3pm OR 3pm-11pm . We also have an opportunity for Weekends- Overnights (7pm-7am). Clients can be within a 45 mile radius of Waco. You MUST have reliable transportation of your own, a valid driver's license and liability insurance.

Guaranteed pay for hours you are on call. However, you also have the option to pick up extra shifts outside of your on-call hours!

Compensation:

· Caregivers (without a CNA license): $14/hr.

· Currently Licensed CNAs: $15/hr.

CAREGIVER Job Duties are to provide non-medical care to our clients, including but not limited to:

• Hygiene and grooming assistance (incontinence care, bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Monitoring/safety supervision
• Ambulation/mobility assistance, including lifting 50lbs and above (training can be provided)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Laundry, errands and shopping
• Transportation to and from appointments
• Supportive companionship
• Respond quickly in case of emergency

Requirements:

• A great attitude, compassionate and flexible
• Good time management skills
• High integrity and strong ethics
• MUST be 18 years of age or older
• MUST have a CNA license or have at least 1 year of elderly caregiving experience
• MUST have a VALID Driver's license, liability insurance and reliable transportation of your own
• MUST be willing to work in homes where pets are present
• Successful completion of a Criminal History check
• Job references
