The Full Time Registered Nurse will work closely with the Clinical Supervisor to provide support to the Clinical Department in overseeing the coordination of services in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act & Comar Regulations. The Full Time Registered Nurse will work closely with the Nurse Monitor Field Supervisor, to ensure that the Nurse Monitor Program is implemented in accordance with established guidelines and requirements.

Job Duties:

• Supervise, train and hire Registered Nurses for the Clinical team.
• Ensure Compliance with Nurse Monitor Program per COMAR Regulations and Nurse Practice Act.
• Write Policies and Protocols for Nurse Monitoring Services provided by Visiting Angels.
• Maintain contact with LHD Contract Managers regarding Nurse Monitoring services provided by Visiting Angels to report any concerns with Nurse Monitor clients.
• Review billing for Nurse Monitor services for completion and accuracy.
• Communicate with DHHS Contract Manager any concerns with Nurse Monitoring services, and Nurse Monitoring clients.
• Perform Initial, Supervisory, and Nurse Monitor client assessments.
• Assist in coordinating Supervisory Nurses: completing monthly assessments, overseeing completion and quality of Field RNs work; identify when needs to hire are present; training new oncoming Field RNs.
• Responsible for ensuring implementation of company RSA Policies & Procedures - for compliance per Comar Regs. (State licenser regulations).
• Accurately complete required reports and documentation, within established time frames.

Abilities & Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License
• Develop creative solutions.
• Work independently.
• Exercise good judgment consistent with Agency standards.

Required Skills:

• Computer knowledge, including proficiency with MS office suite.
• Leadership skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Critical analysis and assessment skills preferably gained from working in community health including home visitation.
• Worked with diverse populations and communities.
• Preferably with at least one year of Med/Surgical experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
