isiting Angels is looking for a Home Care Aide to join our team! You will be directly working with this lovely couple following a one-on-one care plan in home care.

You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building genuine relationships with those you serve.

You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs.

English verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
• Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
• Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
• Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Engage patients in exercises or other activities

QUALIFICATIONS

• Driver’s license, reliable & safe transportation, good MVR
• At least 2 professional references
• Willingness to submit to a criminal background check

Current Positions Available

• Southwick, 4 hours a day, M-F. Lovely couple, He's a Veteran and they both have dementia, needs assistance with shower, dressing, & hygiene
• Agawam, 10am-12noon & 5-7pm 5 times a week, Gentleman Client with alzheimers & depression, hearing impaired, personal care, etc.....
