Job Description
Looking for a seasoned caregiver with a minimum of 2 years of in-home caregiving experience for our busy Plainfield office. Because we offer clients the ability to choose their hours, we have several openings available at all hours of the day/night for caregivers.
The perfect candidate would like diversity in their schedule and be open to shorter shifts. Your schedule could be as busy as you would like or as laid back as you wish. At Visiting Angels, you build your own schedule.
We offer paid travel time between clients as well as paid mileage between clients. This position is perfect for someone who just wants to pick up a few hours while the kids are in school, or who wants to supplement the income from another job. As a caregiver at Visiting Angels of Plainfield the tasks that you can be expected to perform are, but are not limited to:
* Strong transfer ability
* Bathing, grooming, and personal care
* Light housekeeping
* Meal prep
* Friendly companionship
* ROM exercises
* Running errands
* The ability to travel our territory of: Plainfield, Bolingbrook, Joliet, Oswego, Shorewood, Romeoville, Crest Hill and the surrounding areas.
* The ability to pass a background test and drug test
