Vision Source - Innovative EyeCare is Hiring an Optician Near Auburn, IN

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in selecting and fitting eyeglasses based on their prescription and individual needs
- Take accurate measurements of patients' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear
- Educate patients on lens options, frames, and lens enhancements
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using EHR
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions from patients
- Collaborate with optometrists to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment
- Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology

Experience:
- Previous experience as an optician or in a related field is a plus
- Familiarity with medical billing systems and computer knowledge
- Strong understanding of retail math for pricing, discounts, and promotions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, doctors, and other staff members
