- Provides engineering support for routine daily and long term monitoring, process design, and economic benefit analysis for process units within the refinery. Support requires collaboration and interpersonal skills necessary to work with operations, maintenance, and technical functions within the global refining system
- Key job responsibilities include answering technical inquiries, making technical recommendations, providing process troubleshooting, improving process engineering tools, and developing process procedures.
- Carries out various studies to improve plant safety, reliability and economics.
- Conducts test runs to optimize process variables and evaluate plant performance.
- Provides technical recommendations and engineering support during planned unit turnarounds.
- Provides front end engineering for minor and major capital projects.
Should have experience with SetTop box applications, middleware, and driver software design
