Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Manager to join our team. As an Optical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the optical department, ensuring excellent patient care, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a key leadership role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable in ophthalmology, has strong managerial skills, and is dedicated to providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the optical department staff, including opticians and technicians
- Ensure efficient workflow and productivity within the department
- Provide training and guidance to staff members on optical procedures and best practices
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear and ensure accurate fitting
- Perform basic tele-medicine exams
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an optical setting, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmology procedures, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff members, and healthcare professionals
