Overview:
We currently have an immediate opening for a Full Time Optical Lab Technician in our Louisville location. If you have a mechanical aptitude and are able to work in a fast-paced environment...we are willing to train. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team.
Primary Duties:
Machine operation and hand assembly processes in performance in manufacture of prescription eyewear. Responsible for set-up, operation and basic maintenance of equipment in lab production.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing a variety of production tasks for manufacturing prescription eyewear. Employee is responsible for the quality and quantity of the work performed, and is expected to know the the quality and safety requirements for every operation that they perform.
Experience/Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Must be highly detail-oriented
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision
- Previous Optical Lab experience a plus, but not required
