Vishay Columbus, NE is currently seeking a Full Time Lead Maintenance Technician to assists the Department Manager in directing the activities of the department and administrating the various programs of the department within his/her assigned group. Directs & Performs maintenance on production equipment and all other supporting equipment within the assigned group. Oversees his assigned group to achieve the most effective method of conducting day to day maintenance on assigned equipment. Works with production supervisors to accomplish the most effective utilization of production manpower and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and perform the more complex electrical and/or mechanical repair work and adjustments on manufacturing equipment as necessary to maintain production line operations.
• Direct and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Utilize “PM Change Forms” to facilitate “Predictive Maintenance”.
• Ensure that your group is making accurate inputs into the “Maintenance Program”. Perform constant training and quality checks on each individuals data input techniques.
• Ensure that the Maintenance Data Program is utilized to its maximum effectiveness within his/her assigned group
• Equipment Utilization: Various hand tools, mill, lathes, drill press, electrical test equipment, hydraulic lift, fork-lift, and welding equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent plus addition specialized training equal to two years of college or technical school.
• Two years to three years experience.
