Job Title: Asphalt Construction Laborer
We are looking for experienced asphalt laborers to assist with repair, maintenance and installation of asphalt operations. The right candidates will have experience digging out , shoveling, grading, looping, tamping and rolling out asphalt. Additionally, candidates will be familiar with jobsite operations on highways and interstates, safety practices, personal protective equipment, job site setup and breakdown.
$25.00/hour - NO BENEFITS

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the construction and maintenance of asphalt projects
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools as directed by the construction team
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth to prepare for construction
- Perform general cleanup of work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with work zone set up and break down; Provide flagging services for traffic
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Requirements:
- One year recent previous experience in asphalt construction operations
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions from supervisors
- Class C driver's license with no restrictions
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have attention to detail.
- Must be able to listen carefully and effectively convey information.
- Practice workplace safety.
- Able to apply basic knowledge and problem solving skills to job.
- Must treat others with respect!
- Must have reliable transportation to/from jobsites; no take home vehicles
- One year of verifiable work history as a asphalt construction laborer required
- Pre-employment drug screening and random testing program
- Ability to work in varying outdoor environment including extreme hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
