Job Description

This role is responsible for contributing to the overall integrity and availability of the Debit Processing Switch, Prepaid, Open File Delivery (OFD) and associated applications.

This is an individual contributor role responsible for solving problems that have a medium to large impact on the business.

  • Design, build or maintain HP NonStop servers, using C, TAL and TACL
  • Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct problems
  • Evaluate code to ensure it is valid, meets industry standards and is compatible with devices and/or operating systems
  • Confer with development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, and help choose solutions
  • Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring high availability and performance of our services.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
•3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
•College degree in computer science or equivalent work experience in data
processing.
•3-5 years support and/or development role experience on HP Non-Stop
machines (Itanium or higher) utilizing Connex/Advantage application –
required (Base24 Preferred if no Connex/Advantage)
•3-5 years support and/or development role experience in
TAL/C/SQL MP/TACL/Pathway/Enscribe – required.
•General knowledge of EFT transaction processing – required
•Working knowledge of Connex Advantage Authorization Processor (AP) is
a plus.
•Working knowledge of MQ and or replication software such as Golden Gate
Software (GGS) is a plus.

•Ability to work independently exhibiting strong multitasking and time
management skills
•Good analytical and problem-solving skills
•Good communication (oral & written) skills including the ability to translate
technical issues/concepts into ways for non-technical staff to understand.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 96,600.00 to 123,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
