Job Description

The Senior Director, Head of Client Services Learning, will lead a global team of performance consultants to consult, identify and design the critical learning solutions that will develop our 3,000 Client Services (Operations) teammates to drive results, OKRs and help them develop their careers.

You will create a deep partnership with Client Services, Talent and People Team (HR) leadership to identify and align on critical business priorities and needs within Visa’s Client Services business, analyze root cause, design solutions and partner with the cross functional Visa University learning team to develop and deliver the learning solutions that will drive impact. 

As a key member of the Growth and Functional Learning Leadership Team within Visa University, you will develop and implement a new strategy that emphasizes blended formal and informal learning across the 3Es (experience, exposure and education). You will bring a consultative approach to identifying business priorities, experience working with senior leaders and an ability to identify both technical learning and leadership development needs for our Client Services teammates.

Reporting to the Global Head of Growth and Functional Learning, you will collaborate closely with other members of the Growth and Functional leadership team, the Learning Consultants who support each Visa business area, business stakeholders and the cross functional Visa University team that will develop and deliver the learning solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9 years of experience

• Exceptional leadership skills, with experience mobilizing a diverse team around a shared set of goals, coaching and developing team members, and fostering an inclusive culture rooted in psychological safety.
• You have experience supporting operations or technical learning for a high growth and/or global business
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior stakeholders across Business Units and HR to identify and align on critical business priorities and translating them into impactful learning solutions that drive business results and OKRs
• Deep knowledge of and demonstrated ability to apply change management practices and adult learning philosophy.
• Experience with Agile management practices, including working iteratively with cross-functional, self-managed teams.
• Strong communication (written and verbal), consulting, stakeholder management, relationship management and influencing skills at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
• 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD),
• 10 years of experience in learning consulting for various audiences – identifying both technical and leadership needs of global learners
• Master’s degree in a related field (Human Resources, Organization Development, Instructional Design, etc.)

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 148,400.00 to 204,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
