Job Description

The Director of VAS Channel Management will be responsible for driving a scaled and efficient Channel/ Partner sales process and supporting the growth of Value Added Services (VAS)indirect revenue. They will partner closely with NA regional sales, delivery, solutions/ product leads. Major focal points will include :

  • Support the development and management of Partner Programs such as Reseller, Services, Referral, Platform, Sponsorship/Branding and other programs

  • Develop program guides that detail requirements and benefits, terms and conditions, etc.

  • Design and launch standardized sales / channel / partner rules of engagement.

  • Design & launch standardized field enablement for Partner Program elements such as, Incentives, Rules of Engagement, Deal Reg, How to Partner, etc.

  • Collect and manage feedback from channel partners into the ongoing roadmap for the Channel Program.

  • Work cross functionally with sales operations, marketing, finance, enablement and technical teams to secure, operationalize and manage all aspects of various Program types

  • Document policies and processes to support all aspects of the program and enable execution.

  • Establish and track metrics of the program,

  • Manage required compliance processes.

  • Manage and measure the results of programs. Iterate to improve.

Locations: Open to any Visa office location, excluding NY and Miami

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in the channel sales or partnership space.
Program management experience
Confident speaker with ability to present, interact, and connect with executives
and influencers.
Natural ability to understand and articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
Strong personal desire to improve and expand industry-related knowledge
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
8 years of experience within the payment industry
Experience with eCommerce, payments, risk, security and regulatory requirements for domestic and cross broader processing.
Experience having revenue accountability for a portfolio of channel partners
Professional certification in Project or Program Management

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 183,000.00 to 265,450 per year, which includes potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
