Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with an innovative world-class commercial organization in the financial services and money movement industry? Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is currently experiencing double-digit growth and expanding into new payment flows and solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our team to lead and execute strategic planning as a Director of Operations, Treasury Working Capital Commercial Solutions.

While leading strategic planning, you will work closely with our business head, functional partners, and multiple stakeholders globally to support the execution of Visa's commercial treasury and working capital solutions, partnerships strategy, and verticalization. You will ideate and guide payment* solution concepts that are consistent with client Treasury and Working Capital needs and company vision while building a deep understanding of our priority verticals.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for money movement innovation and be able to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and scope, plan critical paths, and identify operational risks. You will lead regular performance management cadence, including business reviews and internal communications focused on sales growth, and work with regional and global sales/account executives to identify and enable innovative use cases related to B2B commerce applications with the goal of scaling.

You will also support the VCS Embedded Finance strategy by closing and executing deals with partners that broaden B2B use cases, such as ERPs, ISVs, and Fintechs and other players in the payment space. In this role, you will coordinate multi-regional teams throughout the deal process, developing and executing a consistent, coordinated approach to scale and repeat.

This position will require an understanding of money movement in the payment landscape. To be successful in this position, you will need to gather and synthesize inputs and data from various sources to develop meaningful insights and identify risks to the business for stakeholder presentations and executive-level reporting. You will also be responsible for leading routines that communicate LMM sales performance globally.

Essential Functions :

Strategy

  • Support the delivery of Visa’s commercial – treasury and working capital solutions, partnerships strategy and verticalization

  • Ideate and guide solution concepts consistent with client needs and company vision

  • Build deep understanding of our priority verticals (healthcare, fleet and fuel, agriculture, B2B travel, eMarketplaces)

  • Provide strategic and operational support to executive leadership as appropriate

Sales Enablement and Go-To-Market:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals/scope, plan critical paths, and identify operational risks.

  • Lead regular performance management cadence including business reviews and internal communications focused on sales growth.

  • Work with regional and global sales/ account executives to identify and enable use cases related to B2B commerce applications with the goal of scaling

  • Liaise with other business units, product leaders, client services and other applicable groups to ensure flawless execution

Strategic Deals:

  • Support the VCS Embedded Finance strategy by supporting closing and executing deals with partners that broaden B2B use cases, such as ERPs, ISVs, and Fintechs.

  • Coordinate multi-regional teams throughout the deal process, developing a consistent, coordinated approach to scale and repeat.

  • Support post-deal implementation activities to ensure successful launches.

Sales Performance Monitoring:

  • Gather and synthesize inputs and data from various sources to develop meaningful insights on the business for stakeholder presentations and executive level reporting.

  • Own and lead routines that communicate LMM sales performance globally.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
 Ability to conduct primary and secondary research expertise, including experience conducting interviews
 Ability to absorb and process large amounts of information and synthesize into key insights
 Organized and comfortable creating and executing workplans
 Ability to ruthlessly prioritize and identify the most important items to focus on
 Excellent communication and strong presentation skills, with experience developing presentations conveying insights from data analysis
 Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with people from various teams and various backgrounds
 Must be self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity
 Ability to inspire those around you and influence those around you, even without direct management responsibility
 Qualitative and quantitative horsepower
 Ability to embrace feedback and hold yourself accountable
Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
• The ideal candidate will bring 6 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate banking, management consulting, and/or M&A/Partnerships experience

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,800.00 to 213,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
