PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Under the direction of the Vice President of Product Engineering,
lead and/or provide design and engineering support to new product development teams. Schedule
and track New Product timelines and activities and manage assigned projects.
MAJOR DUTIES:
1. Assume a leadership role in the New Products Engineering group.
2. Schedule and track New Product Projects in coordination with other engineering staff.
3. Adjust project priorities to accommodate emerging needs.
4. Function as the project engineer and team leader for New Product or Product Improvement projects as
assigned.
5. Engineer and manage jobs that are Variations to our standard products.
6. Complete and manage product documentation including but not limited to CAD models, Shop
Drawings, Bills of Material and Field Instructions.
7. Complete Engineering Change Notices in accordance with established procedures
8. Understand and comply with established procedures to include Design Standards, CAD
standards, Documentation and Product Safety standards pertinent to our certified testing
programs.
9. Perform set-up and testing and/or assist Compliance staff with Scheduling and Scope of
product testing.
10. Mentor and train other staff as directed.
11. Perform Process and/or Software Administrative Duties as assigned.
12. Other job duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Extended periods of sitting required, along with occasional bending and kneeling required. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
