Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a respected Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Canon City, CO to find a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team! This part-time or full-time day shift position (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while enjoying a flexible schedule with no weekend shifts.

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess communication and swallowing impairments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific patient needs.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills, such as speech clarity, language comprehension, and social communication.
- Train and educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Document progress and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Colorado state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting (preferred).
- Strong clinical skills in adult communication and swallowing disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong documentation skills.
