About The OpportunityAs a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their overall function. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess musculoskeletal impairments and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve strength, flexibility, range of motion, and coordination.
- Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and self-care strategies.
- Document treatment progress and outcomes accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while fostering a supportive environment for patients.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
- May participate in patient education programs or community outreach initiatives (depending on the facility).
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting (preferred).
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
