Opportunity:

VSO is seeking a customer experience-driven personality to join our team as an Audio/Visual Engineer who will have the opportunity to support our Enterprise Video Services Team. The ideal candidate should be a subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge of Broadcast Video and Satellite transmission issues and trends. The ideal candidate utilizes functional area expertise gained through direct industry experience to assess the operational and functional baseline of product lines, businesses, sites, and/or operations.

Qualifications:

• 7-9 years of relevant experience
• Experience with performing RF (C and Ku-band) analysis and testing
• Experience with management of a multitude of video sources including Standard Definition, High Definition, Ultra High Definition (UHD), and RGB
• Experience with maintaining Satellite antenna as well as Over the Air VHF and UHF antenna
• Experience with Installation and maintenance of Cable TV technology and associated technology such as encoders and decoders

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to work in a hybrid role and be on-site in Greenbelt, MD, 3 days a week
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
