Program Associate

Virtual Peaker is looking for a Program Associate that will help solve the climate crisis by supporting our mission of building the utility of the future. The intermittent nature of wind and solar energy make it much harder for electric utilities to keep the grid in balance. Renewable energy is going to save humanity, and Virtual Peaker is part of the solution. 

Role Responsibilities

As a Program Associate, you will be responsible for supporting our clients by acting as a subject-matter expert to users of our cutting-edge software platform. Day-to-day, you can expect to: 

• Manage customer enrollment and incentive delivery for Virtual Peaker clients 
• Manage event scheduling and reporting for Virtual Peaker clients
• Work with the Delivery team to respond to technical client questions, feedback, and requests with an emphasis on friendly responsivity and proactive engagement 
• Contribute to Virtual Peaker’s Online Client Help Center with new content and editing, as needed

• Provide enrollment troubleshooting and support to homeowners enrolling in Virtual Peaker client programs, in coordination with other support resources
• Other duties, as assigned

Education & Experience

Candidate will ideally have:

• Two years of experience in training or teaching, tech support, research, or a combination thereof
• A collaborative and growth-oriented mindset that thrives when quickly learning new things
• A sense of ownership and pride in one’s performance and impact on the company’s success
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• A critical mind and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills

• Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure in time-sensitive situations
