Virtual Coworker is Hiring a Bookkeeper for a Coffee Company in Australia (Home-Based Part Time) Near Brisbane, CA

· Bookkeeping:Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, in the accounting software.Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers and journals.
·Bank Reconciliation:Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Monitor and track business expenses and ensure compliance with financial policies.
·Financial Reporting:Generate and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
· Tax Compliance:Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with relevant AUSTRALIAN tax regulations.Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
·Budgeting and Forecasting:Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets.Assist in financial forecasting and variance analysis.·Audit Support:Prepare necessary documentation and support the audit process, liaising with auditors as needed.Ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
