We are thrilled to present an internal opportunity for the Project Coordinator – Key Accounts role at Virginia – Georgia Transformer Corporation. This opening is an excellent prospect for individuals with a zeal for project management and the ambition to significantly contribute to our success.

About the Role: The Project Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of projects, maintaining customer satisfaction, and upholding the company's interests. You will report directly to market leaders, providing a special opportunity to work intimately with top management and influence our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Key job responsibility is to manage, course correct and protect Company interest and Customer contractual obligation at all times
  • Act as primary communication linkage between business and customers regarding contracts and project’s progress by providing clear and accurate communication to the customer and internal stakeholders during order execution to support company’s commercial and financial goals
  • Actively involved in identifying and resolving issues that will cause consequential implications to the Customer and (or) the Company by leading timely coordination with the plants and other departments.
  • Track all active projects and raise flags and alert hierarchy on all critical course deviations and report progress to upper management daily.
  • Take responsibility from order entry to delivery and installation in line with contract.
  • Coordinate and partner with Plant production schedules and Customer expectations, resolve to customer satisfaction and keep upper management informed
  • Monitor the customer satisfaction by a survey
  • Coordinate internal activities with all related stake holders that relate to each project.
  • Provide Customer up to date information on required documentation and ensure that the information that is provided is accurate
  • Travel to meet Customers as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or commensurate experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in managing custom-engineered projects.
  • Experience with contractors, engineers, and EPCs is highly regarded.
  • Strong skills in communication, presentation, and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of VTQ, GRMS, and Bolton Dashboard is a plus.
  • PMP certification is a bonus, but not essential.

  • Assessment of past interactions and work with engineers, contractors, and EPCs.
  • Verification of educational credentials pertinent to the role.
  • Evaluation of demonstrated communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.

The interview process is as follows:

  1. Submit your application.
  2. Selected candidates will then be invited to an interview with the Department Head and Manager.
  3. Post-interview, candidates will receive feedback and further instructions on next steps.
