Virginia Tech is Hiring a Visiting Instructor and Interim Assistant Director of Choirs Near Blacksburg, VA

Job DescriptionThis one-year visiting position would conduct choral ensembles, teach first-year class piano, and contribute to student recruitment efforts. Additional duties depend on the qualifications and interests of the applicant and the needs of the Music program.
Required Qualifications
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in music (choral conducting or choral music education)
  • Fluent keyboard skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate in music (choral conducting or choral music education)
  • College teaching experience as a Choral Conductor
  • Accreditation/Cognate in keyboard performance and/or pedagogy
