Job Description

The Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech seeks an outstanding scholar for a tenure-track faculty position in Cognitive Neuroscience or Computational Neuroscience, broadly defined, to begin Fall 2024.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and growing community of scholars focused on research questions at the intersection of psychology and neuroscience at Virginia Tech. This reflects a major investment in recent faculty hires and research infrastructure across the Department of Psychology, Department of Human Development and Family Sciences, Department of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise, School of Biomedical Engineering, School of Neuroscience, and Center for Human Neuroscience at the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at Virginia Tech Carilion.
The candidate will be expected to establish an externally funded research program, mentor graduate trainees, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and participate in departmental service.
