Responsibilities

The Listen For Life Center at Virginia Mason is seeking an experienced, skilled and compassionate Cochlear Implant Audiologist to join our team. As a Cochlear Implant Audiologist, you will provide cochlear implantation services, including hearing aid dispensing as it relates to cochlear implantation as well as diagnostic audiological services. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing hearing loss and improve their quality of life.

Duties:

  • Cochlear implant services
  • Comprehensive Audiologic evaluations
  • Audiologic consultation and education
  • Fit and dispense hearing aids
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and device use
  • Perform hearing aid adjustments, repairs, and maintenance
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology research and technology

Qualifications

We Require

  • Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional patient service
  • Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and interpreting test results
