MEDICAL ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

Pride Health is hiring MEDICAL ASSISTANT to join our client’s healthcare team all over SEATTLE WA This is a Contract Position with our client’s reputable healthcare organization

JOB SUMMAR

• Y:all duties within the scope of a Medical Assistant’s practic
• e.diagnostic equipment (cannot interpret tests), remove staples from superficial wounds, changes wound dressing and obtains cultures, administers non-intravenous medication, performs simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques and collects blood specimens via venipuncture or via capillary, performs EKG

s.Performs quality control checks on equipmen

• t.and sterilizes medical equipment using the autoclav
• e.patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patient for examinatio
• n.patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely mann
• erpatient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policie
• s.patient confidentiality always and treats patients with courtesy and respec
• t.exam and treatment rooms, stocks, and cleans rooms and sterilizes instrument
• s.standard infection control precautio
• nsand in-person screening limited to intake and gathering of information without requiring the exercise of judgment based on clinical knowledg
• e.and follows Standard Delegation of Orders (SD
