Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team on a PRN basis. As an Occupational Therapist with Virginia Home Care Services, Inc., you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our clients in Northern Virginia by providing comprehensive and individualized occupational therapy services.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' functional abilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address clients' occupational therapy needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
• Educate clients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a home care setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• CPR certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with geriatric populations.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Note: This is a PRN position, and hours will be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
