Registered Medication Aide (RMA & CNA) - The Huntington Assi

The Huntington Assisted Living Facility is looking for a Registered Medication Aide, who is interested in an environment where growth is supported in long term care! The starting rate is at $16-$21/hour, based on experience.This facility is located in Newport News, VA. You must be both a licensed CNA and RMA to be considered.

Scheduling Options:

• Flexible Scheduling options, including 8 and 12 hour shifts
• Full Time and Part Time available
• Day and Night shift available

Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Completion of a State approved Registration Medication Aide and Nursing Assistant course.
• Registered Medication Aide and Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing.
• Gerontological experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medication and medical terminology.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to understand and carry out written and/or oral instructions.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
