Virginia Family Dentistry is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant (Ortho Tech) to join Brandermill/ Midlothian locations' dental family!
This position will be working with one specific ortho team that travels between two office locations. This team travels between our Brandermill and Midlothian offices. Please indicate in order of preference the locations you are interested in.
If you are a team-player who loves providing quality patient care, please consider applying. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year or more of experience in orthodontic assisting. If you do not have direct industry experience, we ARE willing to train the right candidate that possess positive people skills, a willingness to learn, and work in a fast-paced environment. Typical work hours are 4 and 1/2 days per week, 8am-5pm.

We are a practice with almost 500 employees, 16 locations and over 60 general dentists and dental specialists. Although we are large, we operate like a close-knit family and strive to uphold our core values.

They time-mange efficiently, demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Orthodontic Assistant provides our doctors with quality support and diligently follows Virginia Family Dentistry’s Standard of Care.
Clinical Requirements
· Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law
· Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred
· Take blood pressure readings
· Must be (or become) x-ray and CPR certified when hired
