As a comprehensive community college, Germanna provides quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities for the residents of the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, Culpeper, King George, Madison, Orange, Spotsylvania and Stafford.

Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. We are seeking someone who is able to teach the EMS 111 course and additional courses as needed.

KSA's/Required Qualifications

* 2 years field experience

* VAOEMS EMT /National Registry EMT certification

* AHA BLS Provider CPR certification (or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

* Education Coordinator (and/or progress toward that certification) is not required but strongly preferred

* Advanced EMT to teach 2nd semester skills

* EMT Intermediate to teach 3rd semester skills

* EMT Paramedic to teach everything above 3rd semester AND may teach anything previous to 3rd semester
