Marketing and Communications Student-Worker

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mary and Frances Youth Center (MFYC) seeks to hire a marketing and communications student for a part-time position. The student will design marketing materials for special events and help visually develop the Mary and Frances Youth Center’s website. Materials to be created may include the development of flyers, website content creation, video creation, social media posts, and other deliverables to enhance the presence of the youth center.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualizing visual materials determined in partnership with the MFYC team.

• Create images and layouts using design software such as Canva or Adobe.

• Test graphics across various media platforms.

• Revise designs in response to feedback.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proven graphic design experience as demonstrated by a portfolio of work

• Website content creation

• Experience with Canva, Adobe, or other relevant software and technologies.

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Excellent Communication Skills

• Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work in a changing environment

WORK HOURS:

• variable, in coordination with the MFYC team.

COMPENSATION:

$22 per hour for 15-20 hours per week.
