We are seeking an organized IT Project Coordinator to join our Information Security team based at our San Francisco HQ. You will support the management and coordination of multiple projects and operational processes within the information security domain. You will report to the Director of Information Security.

This position is based in San Francisco at our corporate office and there is a requirement to be onsite three days per week.

Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities

• Follow IT project management lifecycle processes to help deliver information security projects
• Help develop and implement project charters, plans and milestones
• Set up team meetings, create project documentation including meeting minutes and actions, and work with teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
• Promote communication between the information security team and other departments within the IT department and other groups
• Manage communication of status to project partners, including the preparation and distribution of regular project status reports
• Monitor project progress plus risks and escalate issues to project sponsors and information security leadership
• Ensure that projects follow defined processes, including helping with compliance with relevant company procedures relating to information security
• Assist in project planning and portfolio planning for information security, including budget and personnel, to achieve short- and long-term project objectives
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants
• Support the information security team in following and improving important operational processes
• Create reports and status updates for operational issues and support tickets
• Facilitate team meetings to track status of support queues

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
• At least 2 years of experience in project coordination or management in information Security
• Understanding of information security principles and practices
• Familiarity with project management tools and software such as Planview and Smartsheets

The expected hourly range for this position is $44.40 to $58.90. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
