JVipo seeks an experienced and motivated Machine Operator to help grow our new manufacturing facility established in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of heavy machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality products. Vipo provides advanced rubber and polymer solutions for thermal, fire, and corrosion protection for oil and gas, aerospace, military, automotive, and industrial markets. Vipo is headquarter in Norway and serves a global customer base with production and sales offices throughout the world.

Responsibilities

· Setting up and operating production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

· Performing necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup.

· Operating and monitoring multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production.

· Troubleshooting and performing preventive maintenance on process machines

· Following written directions and operating instruction to set up machine to produce parts in accordance with customer specifications.

· Inspecting parts to specifications.

· Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

· Understand and follow all established safety, health, and quality practices.

· Work overtime as required.

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational school or associates degree in related field highly preferred.

· Ability to handle heavy equipment.

· Ability to follow process instruction.

· Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

· Ability to use basic hand, power tools, and calipers.

· Ability to use a computer for email and quality control.

· Ability to function as part of a team.

· Ability to Multitask.

· Has physical stamina and strength.

· Has strong analytical skills.

· Has attention for details.

· Experience with mills, grinders, lathes, extruders, autoclaves, and/or boilers.

· Experience with material handling including forklifts and overhead cranes.

Schedule:

· Full time hourly position generally a 40-hour week.

· Overtime required to meet month end deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.59 - $24.79 per hour
