The Billing Specialist will provide accurate and timely invoicing and billing to customers as well as coordinate the billing process with clients and internal departments. This position handles all invoice generation inquiries relating to drop ship orders. The Billing Specialist must be very organized and detail-focused to ensure all documentation is updated and accurate in the accounting system. The Billing Specialist will process drop-ship orders from shipment to customer invoice. Must be willing to work in a fast paced, team-supported environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Bill single line orders, assembly orders, and various other order types in SAP.

• Add freight charges to Vinson sales order in SAP from 3rd party vendor invoice.

• Enter 3rd party vendor drop-ship invoices into SAP.

• Correspondence with customers regarding invoices via email or phone.

• Research billing errors and regularly engage with account administrators/sales individuals to resolve billing issues.

• Research old and/or disputed invoices with suppliers as needed.

• Process customer credit cards according to PCI/DSS standards.

• Write up credit card batches for AR to process.

• Provide backup for portal billing as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior SAP billing experience required.

• High School Diploma, some College preferred

• Prior credit card processing experience preferred.

• Prior AP history preferred.

• Willing to research and dig in.

• Must be very detail oriented and organized.

• Good organization and communication skills
