We are looking for a friendly and confident almost full-time server with adequate wine and beer knowledge to be a part of our solid team. Seeking motivated individuals that are professional, personable, friendly, reliable, eager and capable of working in a fast paced environment. Side note: We are looking for someone who would like to earn full-time status in the near future but not a deal-breaker.

*Job includes hourly plus tips: We are a full service burger wine bar sit down restaurant with a small patio. Rate of pay is $17.45 per hour, plus you keep all of your cash tips. Credit cards tips will be paid on a pay check every 2 weeks. There is a small 5% tip out to back wait staff and helpful BOH members, food runners, and dish.

Available shifts and hours of operation: We have 4-5 night shifts available at the moment (close to full-time, around 30 hrs). Hours: Mon-Sat 11am-9pm, Closed 3-5pm Mon-Fri. Sun 12pm-8pm.

Duties include, but are not limited to: Greeting guests, taking orders, making confident recommendations, handling cash and credit card transactions using Clover POS, running food, pouring drinks (wine, beer and sodas), cleaning tables, bussing tables, washing and polishing glassware/silverware and maintaining bathrooms and windows in clean condition. We use a Coravin for wines by the glass so it's important to learn how to use it. Carrying drink trays, bus tubs, plates and glasses. Serving wines by the glass and flights with tasting note cards and opening wine bottles tableside properly.

Training provided: ServSafe Alcohol certification, food handlers certificate, menu knowledge, wine and beer knowledge, allergy awareness and other business operations. Training pay will be $17.45 per hour until you fully know the entire menu and we are satisfied that you can confidently and competently serve our customers to the set standards. Training time is totally up to your ability to adapt, overcome and impress. This can be achieved by studying the menus (food, beer and wine) and learning our steps of service and standard operating procedures. Once you are ready to graduate training there will be a serving practical in front of the owners who will determine if you're ready to be on the floor by yourself. (*Training period is a maximum of two weeks or 6 shifts.*) Once signed off you will earn full tips. During training you'll follow our lead server and observe the kitchen operations, taste food, possibly some drinks, ring checks, take orders and follow owners to learn the business.
