We are looking to add a Senior Software Engineer in Test to our Software Development Team. S/he will contribute to the setup or modification of test automation framework and expanding test automation initiatives for both web and desktop applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for manual validation testing of software and tools in a regulatory environment.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Use detailed technical and application knowledge to test web-based and desktop products.
• Make significant contributions throughout the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, risk analysis, testing, trouble-shooting, and deployment.
• Make significant contributions to updating automation test framework for both web and desktop.
• Contribute to the updating or creating of CI code.
• Plan, develop, and execute tests for web-based and desktop applications.
• Develop and maintain test scenarios.
• Write and execute validation protocols.
• Provide internal support to Development, Client Services, and Sales teams.

You Bring:

• B.S. Degree in computer science or related scientific discipline and, typically, 5 years of applicable experience with software QA testing web-based applications and desktop products. Equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience may be considered.
• Experience with test automation framework setup, writing automated test scripts, and code based functional/unit tests.
• Experience creating and/or updating CI platforms such as GitLab, Jenkins, or TeamCity.
• Experience working with load and performance testing tools.
• Experience testing web and/or desktop applications.
• Experience with Cloud such as AWS, Azure, or similar is strongly preferred.
• Ability to write basic SQL queries, joins, etc. is highly preferred.
• Knowledge and interest in collaborative development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with Geb is beneficial.
• Experience with Docker is beneficial.
