Full-Time, Base Commission

The Villages on Maple located in Lisle, Illinois is managed by B & A Property Group, based here in the Greater Chicago Land area; is looking for an individual who is interested in advancing their career in property management. This individual must have excellent organizational and people skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to join our leasing team.

SUMMARY: Leasing Consultants are tasked with effectively marketing the property and maintaining high occupancy of qualified residents. They are the first impression of the property and must present a high level of professionalism.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Must have proven customer service and/or sales experience (leasing preferred but not required)
• Must be very organized, professional, friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Knowledge of basic math, and general office technology skills preferred
• Must be able to work in a fast paced working environment
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision
• Must be able to work weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Provide excellent service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers
• Conduct building tours for prospective residents and input traffic into software daily
• Lease apartments in accordance with policies and procedures set forth by management
• Accurately enter new lease information into computer system
• Prepare, maintain, and manage new and existing lease files
• Assist in move-in / move-out process
• Receive and enter resident service requests
• Assist with resident programs and retention strategies
• Assist property manager and co-workers in the management and operations of the property
• Maintain confidentiality in all job responsibilities as it pertains to staff and tenants
• Follow policies and procedures while complying with Fair Housing, state and federal laws
