Job Description Position Summary: The Project Manager will work collaboratively with clinical leadership, employees and key stakeholders focusing on efficient completion of major strategic projects and tasks within the management team. This position is responsible for directly supporting the Clinical Operations Directors and the leadership team in developing, refining, and successfully completing the organization’s transformational initiatives, strategic priorities, and all other high value projects and tasks as assigned. In addition, this role is also responsible and accountable for managing, coaching, and leading project teams in the development and successful completion of tactical and operational plans designed to improve service and outcomes for our patients, staff and community. The project manager will also work closely with business representatives, external contractors, healthcare providers, patients, managers, and front-line staff to develop various visual tools (including Gantt charts) and project plans and ensure projects stay on time and meet or outperform budgets. This position will serve as one of the organizations key points of contact translating business needs into effective designs and project plans, leading the project from inception through construction and deployment. Essential Job functions: Responsible for managing multiple strategic and clinical projects from beginning to completion, maintaining project scope, timeline and budget. Drive project chartering, A3 development, and project team design. Performs research, define tasks, timelines, required resources and assigns owners of projects and tasks. Ensures timely completion of tasks by all assigned parties. Works collaboratively with clinical operations and support departments to implement clinical initiatives, workflows and processes across Summit Oregon. Prepares communication plan and related project status reports to key stakeholders and/or governance bodies to provide project updates on activities and deliverables, as well as risks and mitigation strategies. Drive the analysis and design of operational solutions; help shape system requirements, develop analysis-level documents that reflect the requirements and supports go-live of operational strategies. Identifies and manages overall project dependencies and ensures project deliverables stay on time, on target, and on budget. Actively develop, refine, and promote operational standards across all departments within Summit Health. Document and analyze processes to identify areas of waste, design the most efficient path to success and support the implementation of the organization’s strategic plans and objectives. Effectively communicate with coworkers, management, staff, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner. Facilitates issue resolution and ensure appropriate escalation of issues when required. Develops, runs reports and aggregates information to support clinical operations initiatives. Utilize reports, analyze data, and present findings related to practice workflows to Clinical Operations leadership and assist in targeted interventions, goal setting, and feedback to the practices. Perform clinic audits and work with clinic managers and supervisors to ensure deficiencies are addressed and resolved. Supports provider recruitment and onboarding activities for all Summit providers. Coordinates and supports Clinical Operations in space design and department moves at multiple sites. Develops, runs reports and aggregates information to support clinical operations initiatives. Supports Clinical Operations with equipment service agreements, legal agreements, and capital requests. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions. Education, Certification, Computer and Training Requirements: High School Diploma/GED, required. CMA, EMT, Paramedic, RN Licensure or Certification preferred. Project management experience preferred. Demonstrated history of leading organizational change and completing transformational projects in complex adaptive systems. Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills required for this position. Strong interpersonal skills required. Experience with Electronic Health Record software required. Experience with software implementation, operational support, software development, modifications, and enhancements preferred. Healthcare experience leading teams and working with clinical and non-clinical staff in a collaborative manner preferred. Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking, and priority setting skills, required. Ability to perform diversified duties with time limitations with a high degree of accuracy required. Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail). Standard Office Technology in a Window based environment.
