Do you love providing compassionate medical care to children? Our practice is in need of a Registered Nurse (RN) who does. The successful candidate will love working with children and have extensive experience communicating with youth. We’re looking for a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring parents and communicating with providers. Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

-Room, triage, take vitals and present patient to provider

-Administer medications, provide vaccinations and render treatment as directed by provider

-Communicate with providers, and other medical professionals

-Collaborate with physicians to create and execute a Plan of Care for each patient

-Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed

-Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their parents or guardians

-Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members

-Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment

Qualifications and Skills:

-December 2023 grads, we would be willing to train while awaiting licensing

-We are looking for nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, but would be willing to train the right person

-Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

-Valid New York State nursing license(recent graduates considered awaiting boards)

-Advanced knowledge of MEDENT EMR a plus

-Office is open Monday through Friday.

-Excellent interpersonal communication skills

-Ability to explain treatments and conditions to children of all ages

-Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
