Summer Maintenance Worker
The Village of Lemont’s Public Works Department is recruiting nine seasonal maintenance workers. The position will be responsible for a variety of outdoor tasks. Work involves unskilled manual labor in a variety of weather conditions and may include:
- Mowing Grass
- Pulling Weeds
- Picking Up Debris
- Painting Light Poles
- Light Landscaping
- Watering Plants
- Digging Holes
- Spreading Concrete
- Other Public Works Tasks
This is temporary work during the summer months. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hourly rate of pay is $16.00. Benefits are not provided. Work is available beginning in May and June and lasts throughout the summer. See job description for more details and requirements.
