Village of Clinton is Hiring a Seasonal Groundskeeper Near Clinton, MI
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of our grounds. This is a hands-on role that requires experience in landscape maintenance and the use of various power and hand tools. The schedule is very flexible as long as you can complete the given tasks each week.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming lawns
- Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Remove weeds, debris, and litter from the grounds
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping preferred
- Knowledge of various power tools used in groundskeeping
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
