Job Description:

The Prepared Foods Team Member is responsible for providing exceptional guest service. They will make sure the Prepared Foods sections of the store are well stocked for our guests. They assist in receiving, storing and stocking of products while ensuring proper rotation and quality. They will fill and garnish the showcase, make sandwiches and pizza and keep all the bars full and clean.

Qualifications:

• Ability to provide exceptional guest service.
• Knowledgeable and Passionate about natural, organic and specialty food.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must be detail oriented and able to work quickly and efficiently at the same time.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break
• Able to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts up to 100lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving 90% or higher average on all Mystery shop scores.
• Effectively resolve guest issues.
• Keep showcase, hot, cold and olive bars, carving station and self serves fully stocked and cleaned.
• Follow proper rotation guidelines.
• Adhere to expectations for filling and garnishing of prepared foods.
• Maintain proper signage and pricing, paying special attention to listed ingredients and dietary needs.
• Assist with the sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Follow all proper cooling and heating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Effectively communicate with Guests, Team Members and Store Leadership.
• Thorough knowledge of all relevant policies and standards.
