Job Summary:
Village Caregiving in London, Kentucky is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team in SOMERSET, KY. This is a part-time, hourly position . As a caregiver, you will provide personal care and support services to elderly and/or disabled clients in their homes. This position involves working as an individual contributor, under the supervision of our care coordinators, and requires excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and hygiene support to clients, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, following any specific dietary requirements or restrictions.
• Monitor and record clients' vital signs, as well as remind them to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, dishes, and changing linens.
• Accompany clients to appointments and errands, providing transportation and assistance as needed.
• Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with clients to promote mental and emotional wellness.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and our care coordinators to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
