Village Caregiving - Lexington is seeking a compassionate and dedicated MALE caregiver to join our team. As a Home Health Aide you will be responsible for providing personalized and high-quality care to our clients in their homes. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and our team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Responsibilities
• Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed
• Report any changes or concerns in health to the appropriate personnel
• Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, and dishes
• Accompany clients to appointments and engage in stimulating activities
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients and their families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and any changes in clients' condition
• Attend training and educational sessions as required to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of in office paid training, CPR
• Current driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathetic, patient, and genuinely caring attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibile shifts
