Village Caregiving - Clarksburg is Hiring a Caregiver Near Buckhannon, WV

Job Summary :

Village Caregiving - Clarksburg, a premier senior care facility in Buckhannon, West Virginia, is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team.

This is a part-time, hourly position with a focus on providing high-quality healthcare and medical services to our senior residents.

As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents and be a crucial part of our team.

Compensation & Benefits :

This is a part-time hourly position with a competitive hourly rate of $11 to $13, paid semimonthly.

Additionally, this position offers opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide personal care and assistance to senior residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • assist with daily living tasks as needed
  • Monitor and record vital signs and health status changes
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to any dietary or nutritional needs
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, residents, and their families to provide exceptional care and service
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Requirements :

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting preferred
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Knowledge and understanding of senior care and medical terminology
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening
